Country star Faith Hill had neck surgery -- but don't worry, she's fine. The surgery actually took place last month.

The 47-year-old beauty underwent a procedure known as an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion last month, a source tells People. USA Today has confirmed the surgery through Hill's rep, Kelly Russell.

The surgery, normally used to relieve spinal cord or nerve root pressure, helps with corresponding side effects like pain, weakness, numbness and tingling. Hill had it done to correct damage from an injury that happened a few years ago.

The unnamed source also tells People that Hill's recovery is going well with the help of physical therapy.

Hill is apparently not a stranger to neck surgery. People's source confirms that the "This Kiss" singer first had surgery in 2011, at the back of her neck. This time, however, it appears that the surgery was at the front of her neck, which is typical for this type of procedure. Speculation about Hill's surgery began circulating after several fans noticed a scar on the front of Hill's neck at the Oscars.

Even though she's sporting an extra battle wound, Hill looks as beautiful as ever. Her chic haircut, rockin' body and classic beauty are simply incomparable -- and her husband, country superstar Tim McGraw, agrees.

"She looks pretty hot, huh?" he told ABC's Lara Spencer on the Academy Awards red carpet. "I married up."

McGraw clearly has eyes only for his wife; he tweeted out a sweet message before performing Glen Campbell's emotional hit "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" during the ceremony.
