Already pining for the holiday season? Exile's new Christmas album Wrapped Up in Your Arms for Christmas -- the first holiday album of the band's 50-year career -- is out now, and The Boot readers can get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at three of its songs in the video above.

The above clip provides a glimpse into the recording of Wrapped Up in Your Arms for Christmas' "Merry Christmas From Cancun" (track No. 4), "Run Rudolph Run" (track No. 1) and "O Holy Night" (track No. 6). Many will recognize "Run Rudolph Run" and "O Holy Night," as they're Christmas classics, but "Merry Christmas From Cancun" is an Exile original, a funky getaway song written by the band's Sonny LeMaire and JP Pennington.

“In the 50-year history of Exile, we have talked about doing a Christmas album countless times,” says Exile member Marlon Hargis. “We’re thrilled to have finally created something we are really proud of. It’s traditional, yet original, and has that special Exile sound. We wanted to go above and beyond the average Christmas album and, with Wrapped Up in Your Arms for Christmas, I think we’ve achieved that.”

In support of Wrapped Up in Your Arms for Christmas, now available via iTunes, Exile are headed out on tour for a limited run of shows, kicking off in Kentucky on Dec. 2. More information about Exile and their upcoming tour dates can be found on the band’s website.
