Dolly Parton is breathing new life into her classic, 'I Will Always Love You.' The iconic singer has recorded a duet version of the ubiquitous ballad with Stephanie J. Block, one of the stars of '9 to 5,' the Broadway musical featuring Parton's music and lyrics.

The duet will be featured on Block's album, 'This Place I Know,' which will be released digitally on May 12, and is due in stores on June 2. Block plays Judy Bernly in '9 to 5,' the role originated by Jane Fonda in the 1980 film.

Parton wrote 'I Will Always Love You' as a tribute to former singing partner Porter Wagoner and first hit No. 1 with it in 1974, then again in 1982, when it was featured in the film version of 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.' In 1995, Parton's duet version with Vince Gill earned the pair a CMA Award for Vocal Event of the Year. Pop singers Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis are rumored to be recording a version of the song for release later this year. 'I WIll Always Love You' was a smash pop hit for Whitney Houston in 1992, featured in her film 'The Bodyguard.'

Currently in previews, '9 to 5' opens on Broadway April 30 at the Marquis Theatre.
