Dolly Parton to Perform on QVC

Through a special deal with QVC, Dolly Parton fans will be able to purchase her new album, 'Blue Smoke,' 20 days before its official release date. 

Rather than waiting on the album's official release on May 13, fans can purchase 'Blue Smoke' through QVC beginning April 24. To celebrate the release, Parton will be performing an hour-long broadcast on the TV channel on Sunday, April 27.

The hour will feature music from the new album, as well as some of Parton's greatest hits, performed live in front of a studio audience in Nashville. The performance will be sold as part of a two-disc set with the album.

Parton is releasing 'Blue Smoke' on her own label in conjunction with Sony Music Masterworks. She will begin the US leg of her tour to support the album on May 22 in Tulsa, Okla., traveling throughout North America before heading to Europe.

“It’s always great to perform at home in the good ol’ USA,” Parton says. “I love traveling all over the world; but it’s true, there’s nothing like home.”
