Dolly Parton is going down in the history books: She's become the first artist to earn a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in every decade from the 1960s through the 2010s.

Per Billboard, Parton notched this record after teaming up with Pentatonix to make an a cappella cover of her 1973 hit "Jolene." That reworking of "Jolene" landed Parton and Pentatonix the No. 18 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart, and with that honor under her belt, Parton can now say that she has charted Top 20 hits during the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s and '10s -- six decades in a row. She is also the only artist to earn a Top 40 hit on the Hot Country Songs chart in each decade from the '60s through the '10s.

Originally released in October of 1973, “Jolene” is one of Parton’s most iconic singles; her original version hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart on Feb. 2, 1974. “Jolene” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2014, and the White Stripes, Olivia Newton-John, Sherrié Austin and Ellie Goulding have each recorded or performed versions of the hit single.

Parton last charted in the Top 20 on Hot Country Songs with Brad Paisley in 2006, on his No. 1 song "When I Get Where I'm Going." Her first Hot Country Songs Top 20 came in August of 1967, with "Something Fishy," which reached No. 17.

Parton is currently on the road promoting her 43rd studio release, Pure & Simple.
