She has graced concert stages all over the world, including the United Kingdom and Canada, but one venue in which Dolly Parton has never been scheduled to sing -- until now -- is the Hollywood Bowl. The iconic entertainer will take the famed Los Angeles stage on July 22 as part of a multi-genre, star-studded cast scheduled during this year's concert series.

The Hollywood Bowl show is just part of an action-packed 2011 for the superstar who turned 65 earlier this month, yet shows no sign of retiring any time soon. Dolly will release her 43rd studio album, 'Better Day,' later this year, and will hit the road this summer for several United States shows, followed by a tour in Europe and Australia, to promote the new CD. In addition, she's also working on music with singer/actress Queen Latifah, for an upcoming film, 'Joyful Noise,' which the two will star in next year.

On February 12, Dolly will be the recipient of the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Award. Joining her at the invitation-only ceremony on February 12 will be fellow honorees Julie Andrews, Roy Haynes, Julliard String Quartet, The Kingston Trio, Ramones and George Beverly Shea.
