Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Dierks Bentley soared in his performance of 'Drunk on a Plane' at the CMA Awards.

He didn't wear a pilot's outfit like at the 2014 CMT Awards, and although his wife was probably a little disappointed (because Bentley says she loved the costume), it was nice to see his handsome face during the performance.

Dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, Bentley's set was super memorable: After all, how many artists have an airport destination ticker in the background? It provided an interesting visual element, and the song -- well, it speaks for itself. It's humorous, catchy and a great representation of Bentley himself.

Before his performance, co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley talked about the irony of Bentley's hit ... and his pilot's license. The 'Blown Away' hitmaker admitted that she certainly wouldn't be getting into a plane with her fellow country star any time soon because, as everyone knows, alcohol and flying don't mix well. But, Bentley in a tight t-shirt ... well, that's a great combination.
