Dierks Bentley plans to take a bite -- or four -- out of the Big Apple when he appears at four different New York City venues on consecutive nights this fall, showcasing the various aspects of his musical career.

On October 18, Dierks will play his chart-topping hits at the Bowery Ballroom. The next night, he'll perform with the Del McCoury Band at City Winery. At Joe's Pub on October 20, he'll be joined by Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers, and Jon Randall Stewart for a songwriter's night. The residency wraps up October 20 at Brooklyn's South Paw with the Punch Brothers. A limited number of four-day passes will be available starting Friday, September 10, at Dierks' website.

"This entire year has been about following my heart, musically," says Dierks. "Getting the opportunity to be in New York in the fall, playing with my heroes and my friends is really exciting. It's a cool way for me to take everything we've done this year and pick it apart and really focus on each different element of the music for an entire night."

Earlier this year, Dierks told The Boot that his bluegrass-infused Up on the Ridge tour was a career highlight. "I'm having a blast. It's all about being creative, taking a chance, stepping away a little bit [from your musical comfort zone]. That keeps both me and the fans interested."

If you can't make it to New York City for Dierks' four-night residency, Sirius/XM is giving fans the opportunity to listen in as they stream the shows on both The Highway and Bluegrass Junction channels.

Dierks' next concert date is September 15, a few miles from NYC, in Butte, Mont. For a complete list of his upcoming tour dates and cities, click here.
