Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert are both nominated for Best Country Album at the upcoming 2015 Grammy Awards, for 'Riser' and 'Platinum,' respectively. And while Bentley, who has never received a Grammy trophy before, is hoping that he emerges the winner, he's pulling for Lambert as well.

“Any time she wins or performs, I’m usually the first one standing up and applauding,” Bentley says (quote via ABC News). “A win for her is a win for everyone.”

Bentley and Lambert have toured together multiple times in the past, and although their fame has skyrocketed over the last few years, the Arizona native says that Lambert's personality remains the same.

“I just feel that she’s the same Texas girl that she’s always been," Bentley says.

Lambert already has one Grammy Award to her name, for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, for her 2010 hit 'The House That Built Me.' This year, in addition to her Best Country Album nod, she is nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, both for 'Automatic,' and Best Country Duo / Group Performance, for 'Somethin' Bad' with Carrie Underwood.

Other records nominated in the category include Eric Church's 'The Outsiders,' '12 Stories' by Brandy Clark and Lee Ann Womack's 'The Way I'm Livin.' Bentley acknowledges that he's in good company.

"To be one of five people nominated is crazy to me," he tells Nashville's Tennessean. "I'm so appreciative of that. Anyone who doesn't recognize what an amazing feat that is in itself has lost sight of perspective and gratitude."

Chances are good that even if the 'Say You Do' singer doesn't take home the Grammy, he'll still get several new awards this year. Bentley is nominated for seven trophies at the upcoming 2015 ACM Awards, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. His seven nods make him the second most-nominated artist, behind Lambert, who has eight nominations.

"It really blew my mind that they nominated me at all, let alone seven [times]," he maintains.

The 2015 Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Feb. 8 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
