Dierks Bentley is the latest star added to an eclectic list of artists who are helping kick-off the first year of De Luna Fest. The festival, held October 15 - 17 in Pensacola, Fla., boasts more than a dozen acts, with something for everyone's musical tastes.

Other artists performing at De Luna Fest include Better Than Ezra, Daughtry, Stone Temple Pilots, 311, Blackberry Smoke, Michael Franti and Spearhead and Thirty Seconds To Mars, just to name a few. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the weekend will go to various Florida-based environmental charities.

Dierks will have a busy schedule that weekend. In addition to performing at De Luna Fest, he will also be participating in his fifth annual Miles & Music For Kids charity bike ride on October 17. The event, which has raised more than $1.2 million since it began, is vital to Dierks. "I just think it's important to use your celebrity currency in a positive way in the community," Dierks tells The Boot. "I really wanted to support local hospitals and I love cycles and music so I thought combining all three would be a great way to do that while having a blast."

Dierks, who recently announced he and his wife were expecting baby No. 2, is out on the road supporting his 'Up on the Ridge' album. Tour dates can be found here.
