David Nail uses Twitter (@davidnail) to discuss everything from sports to music to his daily activities ... a lot. The 'Let It Rain' singer has been known to tweet two or three dozen times per day, and even though he knows a few fans may be rattled by his tendency to over-share, he has no plans of changing his behavior.

"In the beginning, when people weren't exactly sure where I was coming from and they weren't exactly sure about my personality, they would get turned off by it," he shares in a Walmart Soundcheck Risers interview. "But now, I think people have come to expect it. Sometimes I'll get on there, and people will be like, 'Oh man, I missed one of his Twitter-thons.' So I apologize to those of you that don't like it, but evidently the majority of you do, so I'm going to go with the majority."

The singer-songwriter largely blames his Twitter habits on nothing more than boredom. "The thing that makes me tweet in bunches: ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), first and foremost," David acknowledges. "I'm the type of person that always has to be doing something unless I'm sleeping. So a lot of times my wife goes to bed, there's nothing good on the television, I'll just start rattling whatever's running around in my head."

The Missouri native insists everything he shares is all in good fun. "I'll get on soap boxes in regards to sports," he concedes. "A lot of times I'll get grief about arguing with people, and I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing. It's just as if it was one of my friends. You have an opinion, I have an opinion, and I'm going to try like hell to get the last word in."

The 32-year-old released his sophomore album, 'The Sound of a Million Dreams,' last month. David co-wrote the debut single from the CD, 'Let It Rain,' which he says is not at all an indication of his current relationship status.

"Prior to getting married, most of my relationships ended sort of sour," he explains to The Boot. "I was never short of material to dive back into. Now I'm happily married and in a real positive place, and when it came time to start writing for [my upcoming album], I was like, 'Man, I don't have any miserable moments to pull from now. I think I tapped that well dry.'"

David's schedule for 2012 includes stops in Ohio, Indiana and Alabama. See his concert schedule here.
