Darius Rucker turns back the clock for his latest music video, 'Wagon Wheel.' (Watch below.) The rollicking clip features a little bit of dreamy time travel as the singer thumbs rides with drivers with familiar faces, and winds his way through several decades. The country hitmaker's cover of the tune, which was, in part, penned by Bob Dylan and later finished by Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show, came to Darius by way of his daughter, although he had actually been played the song several years before and admittedly "didn't really get" it at the time.

"I'm at my daughter's high school talent show, and I'm sitting in the audience with my family," Darius explains. "We were watching my daughter, and the faculty band gets up. It's just the faculty from her school, and they play 'Wagon Wheel.' I'm sitting in the audience, and they get to the middle of the chorus, and I turned to my wife, and I go, 'I've got to cut this song.' I'm serious. This all happened in three-and-a-half minutes, four minutes, while they're playing the song."

As we reported recently, the cast of A&E's wildly popular reality series 'Duck Dynasty' was on hand for the video shoot and can be spotted throughout the clip. Willie, Jace and Si Robertson are joined by Willie's wife, Korie Robertson and daughter, Sadie. The Rucker family, however, wasn't so fortunate, even though 'Duck Dynasty' is one show they all often watch together.

"My kids are angry at me right now," notes Darius. "When I told them they weren't coming these two days, when I told them [the cast was] coming and they couldn't come, my middle daughter is still not talking to me. She wouldn't talk to me on the phone last night [laughs]. But ... it's my favorite show. I tweeted the other day that it's my new 'Monday Night Football.' It's the show I wait for all week."

The clip also features Charles Kelley of Darius' duet partners on the track, Lady Antebellum.
