Craig Morgan has been hard at work in the studio, and he's finally revealed his brand-new single, "When I'm Gone."

The uptempo track was written by Justin Ebach and Steven Dale Jones, and for Morgan, it was love at first listen.

""When I’m Gone" is one of those songs where, the first time I heard it, I knew I had to record it because it’s so exactly me,” he shares via a press release. “It’s no secret I’ve got an adventurous side. I’ve been a rodeo clown, I’ve raced sled dogs in the Arctic, and I’ve broken more bones than I can count. But more than anything else, I want to be remembered as the guy who lived his life to the fullest with and for my family and friends. That’s what I want my legacy to be.”

"When I'm Gone" has a no-regrets attitude and is the lead single from Morgan's forthcoming third record on Black River Entertainment, which is expected to street in 2016. Morgan has spent eight months working in the studio, and "When I'm Gone" is the very first listen to his months of labor.

Morgan's highly successful television show, Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors, returned to the Outdoor Channel for its sixth season in July. It has won several awards since its inception.

“Every day, I’m amazed by the support for this show,” Morgan says. “We have fun every day, and for the outdoor industry to recognize our show is just incredible.”

"When I'm Gone" is now available for download on iTunes.
