It's been four years since we had Martie Maguire and Emily Robison in our AOL Music Sessions studios ... but this time, they grace us with a very different sound, under a different name. The Dixie Chicks co-founders have branched out as a duo, now calling themselves the Court Yard Hounds and releasing their debut CD last week to rave reviews and impressive sales.

We had a great time with the sisters in our New York City studios, as they performed four songs from their eponymous debut and talked to us about the inspiration behind the tracks ... and life beyond the Chicks. Come back to The Boot later today to watch their full live performance and interview. In the meantime, we give you this fun sneak peek behind the Sessions.
