The Country Music Hall of Fame has announced that Blake Shelton, as well as numerous other country artists, will be making a special appearance during the week of the 2016 CMA Music Festival in June.

On June 6 at 3PM CT, Shelton will be at the Hall of Fame to discuss his career and perform a short acoustic set. The event, to be hosted by museum editor Michael McCall, is in support of Shelton's new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story, which is set to officially open on May 27 and will showcase Shelton's life and work thus far. The exhibit will include stage outfits, instruments, song manuscripts, pictures and other personal items from Shelton's childhood, country music career and The Voice experience.

The 2016 CMA Music Festival is set to take place June 9-12, and there will be events happening at the Hall of Fame all week long. The museum will offer autograph signings, performances and special programs, as well as a last chance to see the Flyin’ Saucers Rock & Roll: The Cosmic Genius of Sam Phillips exhibition, which will close on June 12.

On June 8, there will be an autograph session with country singer Craig Morgan, a songwriter session and autograph signing with Aubrie Sellers and Adam Wright and a songwriter session with Gary Allan. June 9 will feature an autograph signing with Bill Anderson and the Oak Ridge Boys, and June 10 includes an autograph session with Scotty McCreery, as well as performances and signings by some of CMT's Next Women of Country, including Lauren Alaina, Clare Dunn, Brooke Eden, Margo Price, and Tara Thompson.

Brandy Clark will sign autographs at the museum on June 11, and there will be songwriter sessions and autograph signings with RaeLynn, Mickey Guyton and Jack Ingram that day as well. On the last day of CMA Fest, June 12, Ryan Joseph will give a fiddle demonstration, and there will be a film screening of Good Rockin’ Tonight: The Legacy of Sun Records.
