George Strait, Miranda Lambert and LeAnn Rimes are putting their Texas-born-and-bred smiles to work for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

The country stars are featured in a new 2011 calendar that is part of Country Fans Care for St. Jude Kids, a fundraising initiative in Texas to benefit the famous cancer research hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Other celebrities pictured in the calendar include Lonestar state natives Radney Foster, the Randy Rogers Band, Richie McDonald, Clint Black, Pat Green, Clay Walker and Trent Willmon. Blake Shelton, Chris Cagle and Jewel also appear.

The project stems from an innovative idea Keith Urban had in 2003, to make a calendar featuring concert photos taken by his fans, with all proceeds going to St. Jude's. The calendar raised more than $500,000, which prompted Keith to make selling them an annual event.

Several of the artists participating in the Texas 2011 calendar are previous supporters of St. Jude. Radney joined pal Darius Rucker over the summer, raising almost $49,000 for the hospital as part of the Darius and Friends St. Jude Benefit Concert, which also included Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson and Jake Owen. And Alaska native Jewel, who currently resides on an expansive ranch in Texas, kicked off 2010 by strolling the halls of St. Jude as part of the 21st annual Country Cares for St. Jude, where she was joined Carrie Underwood, Danny Gokey and Joe Nichols.

Other artists who have worked hard to support the work of St. Jude include Rascal Flatts, Darryl Worley, the Grascals, Jo Dee Messina and Lady Antebellum.

The calendar can be purchased for $15 here.
