Cole Swindell is making a bid for fan votes to win New Artist of the Year at the upcoming 2015 ACM Awards.

Many New Artist of the Year nominees release videos pleading for their fans to vote for them, but Swindell's video takes a uniquely American approach, with the singer asking for votes while wearing an aviator jumpsuit and bringing in Rosie the Riveter and Uncle Sam to help his cause.

“My name is Cole Swindell, and I stand here today in front of you with great honor and pride," he says, while an image of the American flag flies in the wind behind him. "I am humbled to be an ACM New Artist of the Year nominee. And I, Cole Swindell, need your help."

The funny video continues with Rosie the Riveter giving Swindell an update on his campaign, a soldier making posters and Uncle Sam urging fans that "a vote for Cole is a vote for America." Does it get more patriotic than that?

Swindell is up against Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt for the award. Fans can vote once per day through 8PM ET on April 19 -- the start of the 2015 ACM Awards broadcast -- at VoteACM.com. The winner will be announced that night during the show.

All three New Artist of the Year nominees will perform during the ceremony. Swindell is also set to perform at the Party for a Cause on Saturday (April 18).

The 2015 ACM Awards will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on April 19 at 8PM ET on CBS.
