According to Twitter, Chris Young has been writing some new music -- though one of his co-writers is someone that country fans might not expect. On Tuesday (March 14), Young revealed that he'd been in the writers' room with the Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto.

"Fun writing with this crew today!" Young tweeted on Tuesday afternoon; with that message, he shared a photo of himself, frequent collaborator Corey Crowder, Nathan Chapman and Tiesto. The four men are crowded together and smiling.

Crowder is the co-writer of a number of well-known country songs, including Young's recent hits "I'm Comin' Over" and "Think of You." Chapman, too, is a country songwriter as well as a producer; he's produced all five of Taylor Swift's albums. Tiesto, meanwhile, has released six studio albums, as well as a number of collaborative projects. His 2014 remix of John Legend's song "All of Me" won Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the Grammy Awards.

Young recently played the 2017 Country 2 Country Festival in Europe, and will headline the 2017 Headwaters Country Jam this summer. His current single is “Sober Saturday Night,” which features Vince Gill; the song comes from his most recent studio album, I'm Comin' Over, released in November of 2015.

A list of all of Young’s upcoming shows is available on his website.
