Chris Young Returns Home After Surgery

Chris Young is back at home recovering from surgery after being hospitalized  for a leg infection last week.

The 'Aw Naw' singer was in en route to a show in Montana when he was suddenly hit by symptoms. He was taken to a Denver area hospital Wednesday (Aug. 14), forcing him to cancel several concert dates.

Young updated his condition with a tweet on Sunday (Aug. 18).

Back home finally. Wound still healing up from surgery, but hopefully I will see you guys out on the road soon! #dontlaughifilimp

Neither the cause of Young's infection, nor the nature of his surgery have been revealed. According to his web site, the singer will resume touring on Wednesday (Aug. 21) in Redding, Calif.
