Chris Young hit up Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (Sept. 2) and brought his single "I'm Coming' Over" to the show.

Clad in his trademark dark shirt and denim, Young looked calm and collected as he launched into the steamy song, singing, "So I'm comin' over / Runnin' every red light / To Hell with the closure / Save it for another time / Try not to think about you / But it ain't workin' / Why put out a fire when it's still burnin' / Just when I think movin' on is gettin' closer / I'm comin' over."

He flashed his broad smile throughout the performance, his baritone vocals ringing out clear and strong. A seasoned performer, Young was able to entertain the audience with the mid-tempo song that will make anyone's temperature rise a few degrees.

Young's fifth studio record I'm Comin' Over is scheduled to drop on Nov. 13, and it marks an evolving sound for the singer.

“… Not only did I just really, really love ["I'm Comin' Over"] when I wrote it, but also, because of the way we cut stuff on this record, it seemed like the perfect way to kind of bridge the gap between what I’d done sonically on prior records and what we’ve done on this,” Young tells The Boot.

Young's forthcoming project features a duet with Cassadee Pope and a collaboration with country legend Vince Gill.

He kicks off a world tour on Sept. 30 in Nashville at the new Ascend Ampitheater. The tour wraps up on Dec. 5 in Green Bay, Wisc. and Young will hit up Chattanooga, Tenn., Broomfield, Colo., Rochester, Minn. and more throughout his time on the road.
