Chris Young is getting ready to throw his fans a party, and it's all for a good cause.

The 28-year-old has scheduled his annual fan club party for June 5, to coincide with the launch of the 2014 CMA Music Fest. The party will set sail on Nashville's General Jackson boat, and include both a full-band show and the opportunity to meet Young in person. In addition, Young has pledged to raise $30,000 for the Nashville School of the Arts. Students from the arts magnet high school will also be on board the boat, and will serve as his opening act.

Young's latest single, 'Who I Am With You' is steadily climbing the charts. The song, which is the second single from his 'A.M.' album, is one of only a handful on the record that he didn't help write, but he says he knew it was important for him to include on the latest set of tunes.

“From the first time I heard this song I knew I had to have it for my record and I fell completely in love with it," he notes. "It's a song that speaks to being totally in love with someone and the feelings you get from a connection like that. The feeling that just being around that person is all you need.”

Fans wanting to attend Young's fan club party must join his fan club first. Registration is available here. Tickets for the party are already on sale here.
