Chris Young is joining a star-studded holiday TV special this week, and it's all for a worthwhile cause.

The singer will perform for the 15th annual 'Home for the Holidays With Celine Dion,' which features inspirational stories about children who came out of foster care and into loving families through adoption.

“I'm so happy that I get to be a part of this TV special,” Young says. “Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of year, and my Christmas traditions revolve around being with family. I’m excited that this show will enable kids to make those memories for themselves, and that I get to be a part of it.”

The 28-year-old will perform his current single, 'Who I Am With You,' from his latest album, 'A.M.'

“From the first time I heard this song I knew I had to have it for my record and I fell completely in love with it,” he explains. “It's a song that speaks to being totally in love with someone and the feelings you get from a connection like that. The feeling that just being around that person is all you need.”

Young join Dion and Ne-Yo for the televised special, which will air on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 8PM ET on CBS. He will hit the road in the new year, serving as the opening act for Brad Paisley's Beat This Winter tour, as well as joining George Strait for a few shows on the final leg of his farewell the Cowboy Rides Away Tour.
