Chris Young has been forced to cancel an autograph signing session planned for Friday (June 6) at the CMA Music Festival.

Young spent Thursday night (June 5) celebrating with fans at his annual fan club party, and when he returned home, he decided to make himself a late dinner. He cut his left hand in the process, and was immediately taken to a Nashville area hospital.

After doctors assessed the extent of his injury, Young was forced to cancel Friday's four-hour autograph session. He intends to return to the stage on Saturday night (June 7) at Nashville's LP Field, where he is scheduled to play for tens of thousands of fans.

Young's latest single, 'Who I Am With You,' is currently climbing the charts. He will spend much of the summer on the road with Dierks Bentley on the Riser Tour, promoting his most recent album, 'A.M.' See a list of his upcoming appearances here.
