Chris Lane found himself stuck on the side of the road on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 30) after his tour bus burst into flames.

Lane tells Taste of Country (watch below) that he and his crew were about 15 minutes from Nashville, "almost home from a long trip back from New York," when they heard a loud noise, and the bus' back lounge caught fire. The rising country star shared on Instagram a video of the burning bus, pulled over to the side of I-65; flames are coming out of the back of the vehicle, while a bunch of luggage is strewn on the grass.

"Our bus is on fire right now. Our bus is literally on fire," Lane, who says he was in the bus' front lounge at the time of the incident, can be heard saying in the clip, as someone with a fire extinguisher yells at those nearby to move back. "All my stuff is in the back lounge. Everything is back there."

In the caption of his video, Lane notes that, fortunately, everyone got off the bus safe -- "and the @Panthers are winning, so that's a positive!"

Lane has a full tour calendar ahead of him: Beginning on Nov. 4, he'll be playing a number of shows in Canada as part of Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots Tour. Solo shows are on the docket for December, then Lane will join FGL once again in the new year, for the recently announced 2017 leg of their trek.

Lane released his debut album, Girl Problems, in in August. His current single is "For Her."
