Judging by his new music video, Chris Lane is the perfect guy to contact if you're thinking about popping the question. His "For Her" music video features a real-life proposal, courtesy of a fan named Brandon.

"For Her" comes from Lane’s debut album, Girl Problems. The catchy, poppy song, produced by Joey Moi, is about a girl who makes a guy fall madly in love and want to do everything for her. Naturally, with that kind of love and dedication, a ring isn't too far off, making the song's accompanying music video, directed by TK McKamy, the perfect vehicle to showcase a sweet proposal.

Before the video itself begins, fans are told right off the bat that what they're about to see is 100 percent real -- and then Lane and Brandon lay out the plan: Connie, Brandon's girlfriend, thinks that her friend won a contest to be on the set of Lane's music video and that they'll all be there to watch from behind the scenes. As the clip starts, however, it soon becomes clear that Connie isn't going to be behind the camera but front and center. Brandon breaks out from behind the ropes and joins Lane while he sings, before gesturing for Connie to come join him ... and then, the magic happens.

“Instead of making up a love story for the music video, I wanted to have a real-life, genuine love story," Lane explains, "and this is the real deal."

Girl Problems is available for download on iTunes, and more information about Lane, including a list of his upcoming tour dates, can be found on his official website.
