They are already planning on spending the summer together on the road, and now Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow have added one more date to their packed schedule. The twosome will play the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, where they will serve as the headliners for the opening night's concert.

The news was announced after Frontier Days admittedly went through a lengthy negotiation process with the pair. Sheryl will take the stage right before Kid Rock, but it is expected that they will perform together as well, especially since they have recorded two duets together -- 'Picture' and their new song, 'Collide,' that earned them a CMT Award nomination for Best Collaborative Video.

The Wyoming rodeo, known as one of the largest in the world, will play host to an eclectic list of performers during their summer concert series, held nightly July 22 to July 30. Other musical pairings include Jason Aldean with Thompson Square and Mark Chesnutt, Mötley Crüe and Darius Rucker with Kevin Costner and Modern West and Toby Keith with Eric Church.
