After spending the summer serving as the opening act on Kenny Chesney's current 2015 The Big Revival TourChase Rice has announced his own headlining fall tour.

Rice's JD and Jesus 2015 Tour will begin in October, with the Cadillac Three joining the "Gonna Wanna Tonight" singer as his opening act. A complete list of dates and venue information, as well as ticketing details, will be posted on Rice's website soon.

"When I was playing football in college, I learned the most about my peers -- and my competitors -- by studying their moves on and off the field. Inadvertently at first, but now out of this drive to personally be better for our fans, I have been engaging in the same practices I did while in school: observing and performing alongside Chesney and [Eric] Church, two of my musical heroes, on stage night after night," Rice explains in a press release. "But in doing so, I have honed my own style, and so when this tour ends, I want to make sure my fans know they need to be ready because we're nowhere near done for the year."

The North Carolina native says that he has been taking plenty of notes while on out on The Big Revival Tour this summer.

“There are only a few entertainers that continuously set the bar both musically and on stage, and Kenny has always been that guy for me,” Rice says. “... It’s a huge opportunity not only to share the same stage, but also play to a lot of people who may not have seen me live before, who wonder what I’m all about.”

Last fall, Rice celebrated the release of his debut album, Ignite the Night, with a fall club tour.
