    Taylor Swift

    @TaylorSwift13

    The Social Butterfly

    With the release of her brand new, incredibly anticipated album '1989,' Swift took her social butterfly status on Twitter to an all-time high. She is really savvy at most social media platforms, including Tumblr, Instagram and Facebook, using them to connect with her fans and make them feel as though they know her personally -- even though she's one of the most recognizable superstars on the planet. She posts everything from pictures of fans buying her new album to many (yet not enough!) photos and videos of her cats, lyrics from her songs and frequent RTs of other celebrity friends. Plus, girl's got a dry sense of humor that's evident through some hilarious tweets. She lives an exciting life and gives access to all her followers via Twitter.

    Jerrod Niemann

    @JRodFromOz

    The Chatterbox

    While Niemann is one of the funniest tweeters around, this Kansas native -- note the Wizard of Oz reference in his Twitter handle -- is so much more than that: He's country music's lovable chatterbox. He may not respond to every fan who tweets at him, but Niemann certainly makes them feel like he does. Plus, he name checks many of the cities he tours through ... and did we mention he's hilarious?

    Martina McBride

    @MartinaMcBride

    The Sweetheart

    This mother of three is as gracious as she is beautiful, and that comes across on her Twitter account. She praises her kids, admits that sometimes she drools and is rarely negative. Bonus: Since McBride released her cookbook 'Around the Table,' she's been sharing fan photos of their own culinary creations, and they are drool-worthy ... but best to not look at when you're hungry!

    The Oak Ridge Boys' Joe Bonsall

    @JoeBonsall

    Most Well-Rounded

    This author-singer-musician utilizes Twitter perfectly. His tweets offer the right mixture of wit, fun and intelligence. From Bonsall's observations on sports to his thoughts on current events and day-to-day happenings (including bird sightings), the banjo player keeps it light but meaningful. You'll see posts about everything from movies to classic country to what the iPhone's Siri does (and doesn't) know. And then, he'll leave you with a hard-hitting quote.

    Trace Adkins

    @TraceAdkins

    The Over-Sharer

    When Adkins joined the social media world, he caught our attention right away. Why? Well, in little more than a month, he posted two naked pictures of himself: the first was cheeky, the second chesty. And according to the father of five, we don't know the half of it: He writes, "Sometimes I just hit cancel. I go too far. I wish some of you could read THAT stuff! Certainly my best work." Adkins can definitely be classified as an over-sharer, but since he has 231K followers, it looks like fans are OK with his offbeat, sometimes TMI, tweets.

    Sunny Sweeney

    @GettinSweenered

    The Class Clown

    If this Texas tornado ever decides to leave the music business, we're pretty sure she'd do just fine as a stand-up comedian. Our proof? Her Twitter account. Whether it's a clever one-liner -- "I think my phone's autocorrect may be my worst enema" -- or commenting on other people -- "From the passenger seat of the vehicle I am riding in, I just witnessed a woman driving down the road reading a book! Reading. A. Book. #no" -- there's no way we're taking Sweeney off our Twitter text alerts.

    Brad Paisley

    @BradPaisley

    Class President

    Paisley conveys an all-American, family man, good-guy vibe, and that comes across via Twitter. Not only is he a huge cheerleader for country music, the singer-songwriter interacts with everyone: fans, country singers, NASCAR drivers and more. He shares his views on world affairs, beer, photos from backstage, magazine covers, etc., but also keeps the mood light, and often inserts a joke (no matter how cheesy it may be) for good measure.

    Blake Shelton

    @BlakeShelton

    The Bad Boy

    Nobody in country music has gotten as much flack for their social media comments as the 'Boys 'Round Here' hitmaker (take this one, for example). The key to the Oklahoma native is to take his comments with a grain of salt ... and perhaps a shot of whiskey. Shelton is the first to admit he's addicted to Twitter, but we're the ones who reap the benefits. From his "I'm so drunk" jokes (yes, they're jokes, people) to straight-forward responses to fans, the personality America fell in love with on 'The Voice' is the king -- or at the very least the clown prince -- of the country music Twitter-verse.
