Cassadee Pope's debut single, 'Wasting All These Tears,' has been certified Platinum after reaching over one million downloads.

The honor knocks Pope into Taylor Swift territory. Swift was the last solo female country singer to reach Platinum certification on a debut single, with 2006's 'Tim McGraw.'

Pope expressed her thanks to fans on Twitter:

Pope broke into the country music scene when she won Season 3 of 'The Voice' as part of Blake Shelton's team. She performed 'Wasting All These Tears' during a return performance on the show last summer.

The single comes from Pope's debut album 'Frame By Frame,' which topped the Billboard Country Albums chart -- one of only two solo women to do so in the past five years with a debut release -- and made an appearance in the Top 10 on the all-genre Top Albums chart.

Pope's newest single, 'I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,' is currently playing on country radio. The video for the song can be seen here. Pope will be hitting the road this summer on Tim McGraw's Sundown Heaven Town 2014 Tour.
