Carrie UnderwoodCarrie Underwood is an international superstar. And now, in a nod to her global recognition, the singer is featured on the cover of the recently released 'World Almanac and Book of Facts 2010,' appearing alongside President Barack Obama and the First Lady, as well as Chicago White Sox baseball player Mark Buehrle.

A spokesperson for the almanac says Carrie was chosen for the cover because she is both one of the most memorable people of 2009 and one of the most successful winners from one of the most viewed shows on television, 'American Idol.' She is pictured on the book sporting the flowing crimson red gown she wore performing at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Nominated for two Grammy awards, Carrie will host her own Christmas variety show, 'An All-Star Holiday Special' this Monday, Dec. 7 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX.
