Carrie Underwood, rap star? Maybe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves there -- but the country queen certainly held her own when she combined her song "See You Again" with the Wiz Khalifa tune of the same name at the 2015 Big Barrel Music Festival.

Underwood started out by singing her own "See You Again;" the song was released as a single in 2013, is certified gold and was a Top 10 hit on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts. After the first verse and chorus, though, she seamlessly moved into the chorus of Khalifa's "See You Again," which is sung by Charlie Puth.

And then, Underwood rapped; press play on the video above to see the performance. She managed to get out a significant chunk of the first verse -- "Damn, who knew? / All the planes we flew / Good things we've been through / That I'll be standing right here talking to you ..." -- before breaking into laughter. Still, the fans in attendance didn't seem to mind, cheering her on as she went back to her own tune to finish out the performance.

Underwood, too, seemed to have a great time while she was up on stage. "I'm so happy, there's no way I'm gonna [go] to sleep tonight!" the "Little Toy Guns" singer tweeted after her performance.

The new mom's performance at the Big Barrel Music Festival is one of her first since she gave birth to her son Isaiah in February. She made her return to the stage at the 2015 CMT Music Awards in early June and, in addition to some other recent performances, has filmed a new Sunday Night Football opening video that will be used during the 2015-2016 season. Underwood is also working on new music.
