Carrie Underwood took home the Milestone Award at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

"Thank you so much," a beaming Underwood said after receiving her trophy. "Thank you fans. I truly have the best fans in the world, and I wouldn't be doing one one-zillionth of what I get to do if it wasn't for them. They put me up here in the first place. My gorgeous husband of course, friends, family, you guys are amazing. I love country music. Thank you, God, for letting us be able to do it up here in front of all you guys tonight. God bless you guys."

Underwood was originally nominated along with five other artists, including Luke Bryan, for the Milestone Award, which is one of the evening's highest honors. Ellie Goulding and OneRepublic were the other final nominees, along with Underwood, for the award, which was fan-voted.

This was Underwood's third time to take the stage tonight. In addition to presenting, she previously joined Miranda Lambert for the debut of her duet, 'Something Bad,' on Lambert's upcoming 'Platinum' album.
