Baby Fisher is here! Carrie Underwood and her husband, Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher, have announced the birth of their first child.

Isaiah Michael Fisher was born on Feb. 27. Underwood shared a photo of the baby boy's tiny hand wrapped in a blanket on her social media profiles on Tuesday (March 3) to announce the good news.

"Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift!" she writes "Welcome to the world, sweet angel!"

Underwood and Fisher have been married since 2010. The "Little Toy Guns" singer first told the world she was expecting on -- when else? -- Labor Day, calling on her dogs, Ace and Penny, to help spread the word in an Instagram photo.

In November, at the 2014 CMA Awards, Underwood's good friend Brad Paisley let the news slip during their opening monologue that the couple would be having a boy.

“Somehow it came up, it was like, ‘We could reveal it on the show, if you’re gonna reveal it anyway,’” Paisley says. “And she said OK.”

Although she was by no means reclusive during her pregnancy, just a few weeks before her due date, Underwood skipped the 2015 Grammy Awards, held on Feb. 8, where she won Best Country Solo Performance, for "Something in the Water."

“I wish I could go to the Grammys, but travel’s kind of out for me at this point. It’s tempting, but I can’t fly that far away this late in my pregnancy,” she said before the big night. “I’ll be in my pajamas watching it from the comfort of my couch.”

The former American Idol contestant has said previously that she isn't worried about balancing both her family and her career.

“I know it’s possible to be a great mother and to be on the road,” she says. “You don’t have to sacrifice that much. I see people like Martina [McBride] do it and Faith [Hill] do it. I know it’s a possibility. I just maybe need to sit down with them and say, “How DO you do it?’”

Congratulations from The Boot to Underwood and Fisher!
