When it comes to her success, Carrie Underwood is still a kid at heart. The country idol tells Jam! Showbiz Music that she still gets excited about the perks of her job.

"To be quite honest, I jumped up and down on the bed about three days ago," said Underwood. "I mean, when you are on tour and in a really nice hotel, things are just so amazing. You are treated so cool. They put out all kinds of things, like these great baskets in your room. They really know how to treat a lady. So, I jumped on the bed!"

Underwood says those "pinch-myself-moments" happen not just at awards shows or concerts, but also in some unexpected situations.

"It sounds weird, but when I'm in the grocery store I just know I can buy the food I really want and not worry about it, or get whatever Christmas presents I want to get for my family or go on vacation. It's also like just driving in my car to my house. It's a lot different than driving to my apartment when I was going to school. Wow, I'm a homeowner at 25 years old -- that's rare. So that's when success really hits me."

Success has certainly hit Underwood yet again this month. Her latest hit, 'All American Girl,' made it to No. 1 -- her sixth straight time at the top of the singles charts.
