Carrie Underwood Befriends Rap Icon
Carrie Underwood joined a handful of music and sports stars in Vitamin Water advertisements this year, finding a new friend in rapper 50 Cent along the way.
The country star, who just released her latest single 'Just a Dream,' said that she and 50 Cent become buddies while they were on set with Boston Red Sox player David Ortiz and Brian Urlacher from the Chicago Bears.
"He was joking around with me. I was the only girl there, so I felt kind of uncomfortable," Underwood told Dial-Global of the commercial shoot. "I was like a midget next to all these giant guys. So, he was trying to make me feel at ease. He's a really cool guy."
Taking a liking to the rapper, Underwood sympathized with his recent personal troubles, saying, "I feel very sad that his house recently burned down, so I hope he can figure all that mess out."
