When Carrie Underwood took the stage at the 2016 CMA Awards to perform her single "Dirty Laundry," she was backed by an all-women band, comprised of up-and-coming country stars and killer musicians.

During Underwood's CMAs performance, Elizabeth Chan, Lindsay Ell, Rachel Loy, Orianthi, Lindi Ortega, Runaway June (Naomi Cooke, Jennifer Wayne and Hannah Mulholland) all accompanied the country star onstage. Following their performance, Underwood shared a photo of the entire group on social media (above); her band members were quick to gush about the performance as well.

"Thank you @carrieunderwood for your beauty, strength and all you do for inspiring us women in country music. You. Are. The. Queen." Ell wrote, while Ortega called the group "a bada-- group of babes."

"Thank you @carrieunderwood for being so supportive and wonderful to all of us!" added Wayne. Chan, meanwhile, gushed, "What a night. Won't be forgetting this one. Honored and grateful to have rocked it ... Thank you, Carrie, for letting us be a small part of this special night! You are the real deal. So much love and respect!"

Underwood, who took home Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2016 CMA Awards, told media members at the awards show that her goal for her "Dirty Laundry" performance was "to have a lot of women onstage.”

“Gorgeous, talented, amazing women," she said, "because I feel like our country format could use some more, so let’s bring them all onstage at once.”

Underwood was nominated in three other categories at the 2016 CMA Awards, including for the night's highest honor, Entertainer of the Year, which went to Garth Brooks.
