Canaan Smith Announces Debut EP

Canaan Smith has announced the release of his self-titled debut EP.

The project is set for release on March 24 and features five songs co-written by Smith.

"I can't wait for you guys to hear these songs," Smith says in a video announcement about the EP. "March 24. Spread the word."

The EP includes Smith's current single, "Love You Like That," which is working its way up the country charts. A full track listing is available below.

“The creation of music, the whole process, has been so close to me for so many years that I feel like I’ve developed my own sound," Smith says. "It’s not super predictable. It’s unique, progressive and edgy.”

The newly married singer, who wed girlfriend Christy Hardesty in August, is set to join Dierks Bentley on his 2015 Sounds of Summer Tour, along with fellow openers Kip Moore and Maddie & Tae. The 40-city trek kicks off on June 5 in Raleigh, N.C. Smith is currently on the road with Dan + Shay on the 2015 leg of their Where It All Began Tour.
