Country newcomer Cam is ending 2015 on a very high note: Her debut single, "Burning House," has been certified platinum.

The singer performed on Today in mid-December and spoke with hosts Willie Geist and Natalie Morales about the song and its music video. Before Cam took the stage, the show's hosts told her that they had something for her, and they brought out her platinum certification plaque. In addition, Geist and Morales presented Cam with flowers in a bright yellow hue, which most country fans know is her favorite color.

"Burning House" is Cam's first-ever platinum-certified single.

“This means I don’t have to explain myself at Christmas anymore; everyone’s gonna be like, ‘We know what you do,’” she says with a laugh. “This is hard work from so many people. This makes me so happy and so proud.”

The rising star's debut full-length record, Untamed, dropped on Dec. 11 and is available for purchase on her website, as well as through other digital retailers.

The year 2016 holds great things in store for Cam as well: She'll be opening for Brad Paisley's 2016 Crushin' It World Tour from late January through late February and is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
