Bucky Covington Releases ‘Buzzin’ New Single on iTunes

Bucky Covington's latest single, 'Buzzin,' is now available on iTunes. The song is the debut single from the first album he is releasing as an independent artist.

Covington co-produced the track with veteran producer Dale Oliver, who also produced his last album, 'Good Guys.' The new set of tunes is expected to be released this fall.

2014 is turning into a good year for the former 'American Idol' contestant. In addition to the upcoming record, the singer is expecting his first child later this year, with his fiancee, Katherine Cook.

“Katherine came and threw a pregnancy test in front of me — three of them actually — and they all said the same thing. The only problem was I didn’t know what they were! I was like, ‘What is this? Are you okay?’” he recalls. “So she told me and I got so excited!”

Covington's fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch him in action over the next few months. He will make an appearance at the CMA Music Fest on June 8, and has several other shows scheduled, including stops in Ohio, Minnesota, Florida and Utah.
