With more and more news headlines sharing tragic tales of bullying occurring among young people all over the country, singer Brian Milson decided it was time to take a stand.

The Texan released his latest single, 'Nothing Grows in Shadows,' along with a compelling video that addresses the subject that is very personal to him.

"I was bullied as a kid, and I'm afraid I did a little of it myself, so this song means a great deal to me," he shares. "The statistics are just horrendous -- one out of four kids is bullied.  On any given day, kids just stay home out of a fear of bullying. And 85 percent of the time, there's no intervention. This is a song that addresses that."

Milson has been taking his message to the masses with a series of TV appearances, including on the syndicated morning show, 'The Daily Buzz,' as well as the midday show 'Daytime,' and a segment on Fox News.

Milson isn't the only country artist sharing the important message. Morgan Frazier has partnered with Stand for the Silent on their anti-bullying tour in high schools all over the country, where she performs her single, 'Hey Bully.'
