Brantley Gilbert is a single man again -- but he doesn't want to talk about it. The singer, who was engaged to fellow country artist Jana Kramer until their split last month, says everything he needs to say in his next album.

"I sing about the things that I don't have conversations about," he tells CMT. "That's me giving as much as I can."

The 28-year-old says his new set of tunes will still include songs about romance, even though it's a painful topic for him right now.

"The love songs are still on there," Gilbert explains. "I didn't change anything. It's kinda like how tattoos are chapters of your life. And all my records are chapters of my life. They all tell stories, and obviously she's a big part of the story. 'I'm Gone' is kind of a breakup song. But there were some goodbye situations in there and some hell-raisin' situations. There was a lot to write about."

The 'More Than Miles' singer had been living with Kramer in Nashville, but relocated to his home state of Georgia in the wake of the split. But while he's newly available, he insists there isn't another relationship on the horizon.

"The girls from my hometown are so over me," he states. "It's been cool to catch up, but I think I'm done with my exes. To be honest, I went out with flying colors on the majority of them."

Gilbert's new album, 'Just As I Am,' will be released in early 2014. His next single, 'Bottoms Up,' will hit radio in October.

Ironically, though their romantic relationship has ended, Gilbert and Kramer will both perform at Tropical Nights 2014, which takes place Feb. 23-27 at the brand-new Tropical Nights Riviera Maya. Dierks Bentley, Billy Currington, Gilbert and Kramer will each headline a separate night of live performance at the luxurious oceanfront getaway, which also offers excursion opportunities with the artists, VIP upgrades, golf, spa packages and more.
