Brandy Clark will be going after two trophies at the 2017 Grammy Awards in February: The acclaimed singer-songwriter is nominated for Best Country Album, for her sophomore solo release, Big Day in a Small Town, and one of its tracks, "Love Can Go to Hell," is up for Best Country Solo Performance.

"I put my whole heart into Big Day in a Small Town, as did all of the co-writers, musicians and producer Jay Joyce," Clark shares in a statement. "So for it to be so well received, not only by the fans and press, but now also by the Grammys, is a really sweet reward."

On social media, Clark reiterated her thanks, noting that the news brightened a dreary day.

"Wow ... @RecordingAcad, you really know how to put the sunshine in a rainy Nashville day!!!!" Clark tweeted on Tuesday morning (Dec. 6), after nominations were revealed. "Thank you for recognizing my music #GRAMMYs"

Following its release in June, Big Day in a Small Town earned a Top 10 spot (No. 8) on the country charts. Her two nominations at the 2017 Grammy Awards are Clark's fifth and sixth Grammys nods; previously, she's been nominated for Best Country Song twice, for Best Country Album and for the all-genre Best New Artist trophy.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 12. The Late Late Show host James Corden will host the televised ceremony, which will begin at 8PM ET on CBS; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony will begin at 3:30PM ET and be available to stream online. Further details, including a list of performers, will be announced in the coming weeks.
