In addition to his hosting responsibilities on the CMA Awards, Brad Paisley, who is nominated for three awards including Entertainer of the Year, will also be performing on the show Wednesday night (November 10).

While he is nearing the top of the country charts with his latest single, 'Anything Like Me,' Brad has chosen to debut a new song on the live broadcast. "I'm really excited about my performance, because I'm trying something out. I've never done this before," Brad tells The Boot. "I just started cutting my next album and we're neck-deep in that. So, on the CMAs, there's a song on the next album that's going to be a lot of fun to demo that night. I'm essentially doing a demo on the CMA Awards of something that I've cut for my industry. I'm most excited about that, because there's like a viewership of 30 million. It's just like when I take somebody and stick them in a car and say, 'I've got something new to play you.' I get to stick 30 million people in the car essentially and play them something new, which is fun."

The song is reportedly titled 'This is Country Music,' and will appear on the follow-up album to Brad's new 'Hits Alive' double disc, which arrived in stores last week.

Fans can watch Brad's performance, along with many others, on the '44th Annual CMA Awards,' telecast live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, Wednesday, November 10 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
