Brad Paisley is returning to the hit TV show, 'Nashville.'

The singer, who appeared in the season one finale last year, will once again play himself in the series. In the episode, Paisley will induct Juliette Barnes (played by Hayden Panettiere) into the Grand Ole Opry.

Chances are good Paisley isn't a stranger to the set of the award-winning show. His wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, also stars in the show, playing vindictive Peggy Kenter, who is married to Mayor Teddy Conrad.

But while the West Virginia native fully supports his wife's acting role, he admits he can't bring himself to watch it on TV.

“It’s a little odd, having Kim on there playing somebody else,” he admits to Parade Magazine. “I can’t watch it. It is really good, but it’s disturbing to me, too close to what I do. It’s like if I was in the CIA, I don’t know if I’d watch ‘Homeland.’ But I’m not, so I do.”

Paisley's episode, 'It's All Wrong, But It's All Right,' will air on Jan. 29. 'Nashville,' which also stars Connie Britton and Charles Esten, airs on ABC on Wednesday nights at 10PM ET.
