Brad Paisley made sure plenty of families in New York have food on their table this summer. The ‘Beat This Summer’ singer joined forces with his fans at his recent concert in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. to bring in 900 pounds of food through the Feed Our Vets charity.

This is Paisley’s second year to participate with the organization, which operates both stationary and mobile food pantries, and works to keep veterans and their families healthy through nutritious meals.

“Brad is a great friend to Feed Our Vets,” Richard Synek, Executive Director of Feed Our Vets, explains (quote via Nashville Gab). “He cares deeply about helping to ensure that our veterans have adequate food and shelter for themselves and their families, and we’re grateful to call him a partner in our effort to do that.”

The fan who collected the most food was given front row tickets to the concert, as well as a meet and greet opportunity with the superstar. To find out more about Feed Our Vets, click here.

Brad will continue his Beat This Summer tour with stops in Ohio, Wisconsin and Texas later this month. See all of his upcoming shows here.
