In 1991, when "I Wanna Sex You Up" was becoming a big hit for Color Me Badd, Brad Paisley was graduating from high school in West Virginia. Although the country superstar and the R&B group are an unlikely pairing, Jimmy Kimmel united them on his late-night TV show on Monday (Nov. 2) for a new "Mash Up Monday" installment.

Going, for the moment, as "Color Me Bradd," Paisley jammed on the guitar to the tune's funky beat and traded lines with Color Me Badd's frontman, Bryan Abrams, during the song's chorus. Press play on the video above to watch their performance.

This week is a busy one for Paisley: On Wednesday (Nov. 4), he will return, along with good friend Carrie Underwood, for the eighth time, to co-host the 2015 CMA Awards. In addition to his hosting duties, Paisley will also be performing during the awards show.

Paisley is currently serving as a mentor for Blake Shelton‘s team for Season 9 of The Voice, and he recently announced a new leg of his Crushin' It World Tour, which will kick off on Jan. 21, in Jonesboro, Ark. According to a recent tweet, the singer is also back in the studio, working on a new album.
