Paisley and Underwood Offer Sneak Peek at CMA Awards

In case you aren’t already on the edge of your seat with excitement for the Country Music Association Awards, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have released a teaser that promises quite the party on Nov. 6.

Paisley and Underwood have an obvious chemistry that adds to the appeal of the CMAs year after year, and the commercial is full of laugh-worthy moments, beginning with the duo’s best bits from their previous hosting gigs over the last 5 years.

At one point during the teaser, Paisley turns to his hosting partner and says, “We’re like weird twins.” And it’s true, Paisley and Underwood are just like a brother and sister on stage. Paisley picks on her, interrupting when she tries to get a joke in, and Underwood scolds him like the responsible sibling trying to reign in her wild brother.

“I can’t wait, it’s so much fun,” Paisley says about working with Underwood, while she worries about being prepared, adding, “How are we going to beat last year’s monologue?”

Paisley has joked about Underwood’s numerous wardrobe changes in previous years, saying, “You think this dress is gorgeous, wait until you see dresses two through 14.” With glimpses of the ‘Blown Away’ singer’s wardrobe for the evening, It looks like this award show will deliver on the fashion front as well.

The night also features a long list of performances by country music’s A-list, including Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town and a duet between Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert.

Country’s biggest night airs on ABC on Nov. 6 at 8PM ET.
