Brad Paisley is in the recording studio working on his next album, and he's inviting fans in to follow along on his progress. In a series of weekly videos, Brad will share footage of himself and his band as they lay down the tracks and shape the sound of the new record. (Watch the first video below.)

As the musicians work on their individual parts, the singer-songwriter-guitarist offers his advice on how to proceed.

"Go towards what feels right, what feel like organic music," Brad tells the players in the first clip. "What you've always wanted to do but can't get away with."

The new album will be the follow-up to This Is Country Music, which was released in May of last year. The disc topped the country chart and reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, just behind Lady Gaga's Born This Way. Two singles from This Is Country Music have reached No. 1: "Remind Me," with Carrie Underwood, and "Old Alabama," which featured Alabama.

Brad will be working on the new album in between concert dates. He's currently on the road with the Virtual Reality world tour. The trek, which also features the Band Perry and Scotty McCreery, with Easton Corbin joining for select dates, has been extended, with 43 additional dates announced recently. Keep track of Brad's tour schedule here.
