Brad Paisley is headed back to school this fall -- sort of. The country star has announced his plans to launch a college tour this September.

The "Crushin' It" singer will play free shows on a handful of college campuses while out on his Country Nation College Tour. The trek is scheduled to kick off on Sept. 6 at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., and other stops already announced are at the University of Texas, Baylor University and the University of Arkansas. A full list of currently revealed dates, locations and special guests is below; more information and additional dates will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Paisley is currently out on the road on his 2015 Crushin' It World Tour, which runs through early October and features Justin Moore and Mickey Guyton as special guests. He will release "Country Nation," from his 2014 Moonshine in the Trunk album, as his next single early this fall; the song was written by Paisley, Chris DuBois and Kelley Lovelace and is an appropriate namesake for the singer's college tour, as it name-checks 18 college sports mascots.

It's going to be a busy fall for Paisley. In addition to his tour dates, he and and Carrie Underwood have been named as the hosts of the 2015 CMA Awards. It will be the duo's eighth year hosting the awards show.
