Brad Paisley hit the stage at the 2014 People's Choice Awards to perform his latest single, 'The Mona Lisa.'

Paisley was introduced by Roma Downey, who hailed him as "one of the biggest country music stars on the planet," and he definitely fulfilled that title with a high-energy performance that had the crowd on their feet dancing. He even paused at one point to grab a fan's phone and snap a few pictures, and let Heidi Klum keep his signature cowboy hat after she stole it off of his head while he was playing.

Paisley was not nominated for any awards at this year's show, but he was there in support of fellow country stars Blake SheltonCarrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift.

Despite leaving the show empty-handed, Paisley was honored with the Video Visionary Award at the 2013 American Country Awards in December. He is only the second artist to win the award after Toby Keith earned the honor in 2010.
